The Defenders USA Film Festival to END DEMAND
Shared Hope International invites you to participate in The Defenders USA Film Festival to END DEMAND! All you need is a video camera and access to the internet- if you are an aspiring filmmaker or just like to have fun with the camera- this contest is for you! Each entry should strive to end demand for the destructive sex market by speaking out against pornography, prostitution, or any form of commercialized sex. Submissions will be judged on the impact of the message and not the professional level of the film.
Whether your video is an anecdotal narrative, advertisement, or dramatic representation, each entry should help end demand for commercial sex by speaking out against pornography, prostitution, or any form of the commercialized sex.
Your film must be three minutes or less and should be uploaded on a free online video sharing service such as YouTube, iTunes, MySpace Video, Yahoo! Video, Google Video, etc. for submission. All films must be submitted as an Internet link by Friday, September 5th, 2008.
Winning videos will be premiered at the Shared Hope International Sharing the Hope Weekend in Washington D.C. on November 15th, 2008. The Director of the winning film will be given a free round-trip ticket to the event and the film will be showcased nationally on the Defenders USA official website.
To enter the festival, simply fill out the online application and submit your film! We wish you the very best in this contest and extend heartfelt thanks for your dedication to ending demand for the commercial sex market!
